Table Tennis:Male team walloped as the Females makes progress. Segun Toriola's led Nigerian Male Table Tennis team, could not follow up their impressive first day performance,at the ongoing qualifying Table Tennis Championship in Germany. The Nigerian team were beaten by a better Indian side, who thumped them 3-0. Portugal-based Aruna Quadri started for Nigeria against Amalray Anthony Arputhary, who did not even give Quadri space to use his powerful forehand and dispatched Quadri 4-11, 9-11, 9-11 in less than 30 minutes. In the second match, which was the most exciting, captain Toriola showed tremendous skills, but the spirited effort of Indian skipper, Sharath Kamal Achanta, was enough to win the game for the Asian team.
